Dolman Thomas Moore, 71, of Candler died in an Asheville hospital after a short illness. A native of Madison County and he was the son of the late Thomas and Bessie Moore. He wasa resident of Buncombe County for the past 39 years and retired from American Enka Co in 1975 after 31 years of service.

Surviving are his wife, Faye Anne Stamey Moore: three sons, Jack Moore of Canton, and Estel Eugene and Hugh Moore of Candler; three daughters, Geraldine Israel of Enka, Hazel Moore of the home and Lula Messer of Canton; 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be in the Chapel of Aders-Rice Funeral Home and the revs. James Calvin and J T Tiller will officiate. Burial will be in Pisgah View Memorial Park.
