Services were held last week in the Immanuel Baptist Church for Floyd Hopper, 70 year old Wagoner County resident, who died, April 1965, following a long illness. He was born in Eureka Springs, Arkansas and lived in Wagoner County, 45 years. He was the former custodian of the Wagoner County Court House.
Mr. Hopper was a member and past Noble Grand of the I00F Lodge 35. Burial was in the Elmwood Cemetery with Green Funeral Home in charge. An I00F service was held at the grave.
Survivors include his wife, Viola of the home; three sons, Lester, Okmulgee; Stanley, Highland, California, and Phillip of Tulsa; two daughters, Mrs. Pauline Woolever, Tulsa and Mrs. Phyllis Young, Tulsa, and one sister, Mrs. Edith Greenhaw, Okmulgee.
Bearers were John Cannon, Pat Johnston, Veachel Collins, Ranzie Watts, Jack Jones and Hank Mannon.
