STATESBORO - Mrs. Delores Brazell Hagan, age 63, died Thursday, January 27th at her residence following a brief illness. The Glennville, Ga. native lived in Savannah for many years and was a 1965 graduate of Groves High School. Following are her graduation, she attended Georgia Southern College in Statesboro, and in 1967 married her husband Tommy.
She was a homemaker, a former school bus driver and worked in the Southeast Bulloch High School cafeteria until 1992. She was later employed with Southern Discount Grocery in Bloomingdale until her retirement. She was a member of the Monterey Church of God. Mrs. Hagan was was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Hagan; her parents, Lewis Delmas Brazell and Natharee Brazell; a sister, Cindy McCurry and a brother, Danny Brazell.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Andy Snipes of Statesboro, a son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Nannette Hagan, of Statesboro; two grandchildren, Tabitha and Joey Hagan of Statesboro; two sisters, Detra Woods of Guyton, and Shirley Campbell of Midway, and three brothers, Gary Brazell of Guyton, Bobby Brazell of Faulkville and Michael Brazell of Black Creek. Several nieces and nephews
survive.
Visitation will be Saturday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home in Statesboro.
Funeral services will be Sunday, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home with the Rev. David Hagan officiating.
Interment will be in the Lower Lotts Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Matt Zettler, Johnny Brazell, Scotty Brazell, Danny Brazell, Jane Campbell, and Jackie Campbell.
The family requests thatmemorial contributions be made to the Ogeechee Area Hospice, P.O. Box 531, Statesboro, GA., 30459 or the American Diabates Association.
