Services for Mary Vance Lang will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at Sulphur Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Timmy Fanguy officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Milling Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Lang, 97, died Tuesday, March 14, 2006, at Hilltop Manor in Union.
Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn Comans; one daughter-in-law, six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-granchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; one son; two grandsons and one son-in-law.
