William Hatmaker Dies After A Short Illness
Prosise, May 28- After a few days of suffering from biliousness and kidney trouble, Mr. William Hatmaker died at his cottage home at this place Sunday at 12:00 o'clock at the age of about 56 years. He was a good conscientious and pias man. Has been an enthulastic and a comprehensive member of the Baptist church for a number of years. His life was characterized by many deeds of charity and love for his wife, eight children and other relatives and friends. The funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon in Ross church by Rev. John Reed, of Coal Creek, after which the remains were laid to rest in Ross cemetery by the American Mechanics and Odd Fellows he being a faithful member of these societies. Mr. Hatmaker was in the Civil War, and was in several heroic battles.
