Mary,the daughter of Richard C and Vilate Gibbons, died as a child after June 1870 when the census was taken, since she is on it as a 12 year old child.

A findagrave contributor said, "I have hunted through all the Moroni City cemetery burial records for Mary Gibbons and only found an Ann Gibbons 1810-1884 and a Matthew Gibbons d. 1972 but no Mary. I also looked at every headstone in the Old Cemetery area and never found a Gibbons. Since this is where the couple lived at this time, it is assumed she is buried there in a now unmarked grave.
