Husband of Virginia "Ginny" Clatterbuck. Son of Thomas Richard Clatterbuck and Hattie Gertrude Armentrout.

Alvah Thomas (Buck) Clatterbuck, 66, of Harrisonburg died Wednesday night at University Hospital in Charlottesville where he had been n patient since Saturday. Mr. Clatterbuck had been ill several weeks. He was born Oct. 25, 1906 at Keezletown and was a son of the late T. R. and Hattie Gertrude Armentrout Clatterbuck. He had
worked at Merck and Co. for over 28 years before retiring two years ago.

He was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church and of the Wednesday Breakfast
Fellowship of the church.

He was married twice. On Dec. 30,1931 he married the former Virginia Dudley Rogers who died Feb, 7, 1969. On Jan 1970 he married the former Margaret Spitzer Palmer, who survives. Also surviving are a son Thomas R. Clatterbuck, who is
employed by the federal government in Guam; a grandson; three sisters, Mrs. Lizzie
Armentrout and Mrs. Sade Wright, both of Keezletown, and Mrs. Allye Earman of Harrisonburg, and two brothers Layton Clatterbuck of Harrisonburg and Mahrl Clatterbuck of Penn Laird.

The funeral will be conducted 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Lindsey Harrisonburg Funeral Home by the Rev. H. Hasbrouck Hughes Jr., the Rev. W. Wesley Weaver and the Rev. L. Glenn Tyndall Burial will be in Woodbine Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Clatterbuck home at 1123 S. High St., Harrisonburg.
