Mr. Hooten was an auto mechanic. Survivors include two sons, Lamar Hooten of Bushnell, and Kenny Hooten of Lake Butler, Fla.; daughter, Carolyn Ferguson of Alabama; four grandchildren, Tara Hooten, Vannette Hooten, Emily Hooten and Kailee Hooten; brother, Roy Hooten of Texas and sister, Cheryl of Alabama. Interment was at Linden Cemetery, Linden.
