M. Kagen died at his residence in this city last week at the age of 70 years. He was a native of Germany, but lived in this county for many years. During the civil war he served in the Federal Army. Mr. Kagen was a son-in-law of Mrs. Mary A. Gasser, who died about a month ago at the age of 101 years. His funeral took place from the German Catholic Church, Father Pius officiating.
