Funeral services for Mrs. Mable Pauline Ables, age 81 of Fayetteville conducted at Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Gay officiating. Burial in Prospect Cemetery beside her husband James W. Ables who passed away in 1967. Mrs. Ables passed away Sunday morning September 6th at Donalson Care Center.
She was a native of Lincoln County and the daughter of the late William Bruce and Edith Elizabeth Touchstone Crabtree.
Mrs. Ables was retired from Lincoln Care Center and was a member of the Prospect Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, James Edward (Lea) Ables of Columbia, TN, Bobby Ray Ables of Fayetteville, grandchildren Zach (Elizabeth) Vernon of Erie Colorado, Ashley (Colin) Brady of Spring Hill, two great grandchildren Jordan Ashley Brady and Jessica Leigh Brady, three sisters Ruth Roles of Fayetteville and Margie Galloway of Florence, AL, and Lois Dixon of Fayetteville one brother Bill Crabtree and Wife Maureen of Fayetteville.
Mrs Ables was preceeded in death by a grandchild Justin Edward Ables and a brother Marshall Crabtree
