Mrs. Icie Leach
Lexington -- The funeral for Mrs. Icie A. Leach, 69, who died Friday morning at Brokaw Hospital, Normal, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Evangelical United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Larry Maffett will officiate. Burial will be in the Lexington Cemetery.
Visitation will be 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Musselman Funeral Home.
Mrs. Leach was born June 30, 1901, at Lexington, a daughter of Marshall and Addie Hoover Hardman. She was married to Edward H. Leach Nov. 12, 1918, at Lexington.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Charles Moncelle, 1004 1/2 E. Grove, Bloomington; Mrs. Eldon Wahls, Chenoa, and Mrs. Floyd Kiper, Lexington; a son, Delend, 1217 N. State, Bloomington; three brothers, Hale, Clyde and Olie, all Lexington and eight grandchildren.
An infant son preceded her in death.
Mrs. Leach was a member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church. She also was a member of the Lexington Home Extension.
She was a past-president of the American Legion Auxiliary.
The family has suggested that any tangible expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of contributions to the Evangelical United Methodist Church.
