Alois A. (Al) Bieker, 56, 315 Skyline Court, died unexpectedly at his home Monday.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph's Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery where the American Legion will conduct graveside services. Friends may call at Brock's North Hill Chapel from 7:30 p.m. today until service time. The Third Degree Knights of Columbus will hold rosary services at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Fourth Degree Knights will stand honor guard beginning at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and will also stand honor guard at the Mass. Bieker formerly operated Al's Chickenette on Vine Street.

Survivors include the widow, Lucille; his father, Fred, Hays; four brothers, Eddie, Wichita, Marcellus, Salina, George, Denver, Edwin, Hays; seven sisters, Mrs. John (Regina) Jacobs, Antonino, Miss Agnes Bieker, Ellis, Mrs. Betty Blackburn and Mrs. Barbara Higby, both of Las Vegas, Nev., Mrs. Linda Hall and Mrs. Martina Bieker, both of Hays, Mrs. Oletha Cisney, Redondo Beach, Calif.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Theresa in 1956, and two brothers, Victor last month, and R. J. in 1967.
