Private Capron A Suicide
Plattsburg, New York, March 12, 1897. Private Capron of Company B, Twenty-first Regiment United States Army committed suicide here this evening, shooting himself in the head with his rifle. Temporary insanity is assigned for the act. His father is Captain Allyn Capron of the Fourth Artillery. Capron joined the Army as a Private and was studying for a commission.
