INMAN - Moran, Corinne L., 85, passed away September 4, 2009 at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson, from complications of Alzheimer's. She was born August 31, 1924 in Hutchinson, the daughter of A.P. and Lola May McCarter Jander. She was a graduate of Hutchinson High School and had attended Hutchinson Community College and received a Liberal Arts degree. She worked at Hutchinson National Bank. She was a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Altar Society and was a PSR Instructor. She volunteered for Birthright, the Soup Kitchen, and Meals on Wheels. She married William Moran on June 22, 1944 in Hutchinson. He died November 13, 2006. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Survivors include 3 sons, William Moran, Houston, TX, Tim Moran and wife Pat, Overland Park, KS, and Darren Moran, Hutchinson; 4 daughters, Corinne Barrett and husband Ben, Aurora, CO, Katherine Ferguson and husband Don, Hutchinson, Mary Lee Moran, Hutchinson, and Jean Drach and husband Larry, Hutchinson; a daughter-in-law, Sharon Moran, South Hutchinson; a sister, Dottie Ann Hornbeck and husband Jim, Wichita;, 18 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Michael Moran. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Teresa Catholic Church, Hutchinson, with Father Nicholas Voelker presiding. Burial will follow at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson. A rosary will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home and Crematory, Hutchinson. Visitation will be held from 5-9 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Wednesday, with the family present from 6 p.m. until the time of the rosary, all at the funeral home.
