Wayne Groweg is the fifth generation of the family to reside on this farm, located w/o Gibsonburg in the N/E quarter of section 21, Madison Twp., Sandusky Co., Ohio. In 1883 Joachim C. Albrecht purchased the land where his family has resided for five generations. In 1903 Joachim's son, John C.,and his wife Julia Tebbe - Albrecht became the second generation on this farm. Their daughter Matilda married August J. Groweg, and they lived on and farmed the land. One child: Edwin John. Edwin bought the farm from his grandfather in 1934. Edwin and his wife, Lucille Martin - Groweg had two children: Wayne Howard and Judith Ann. The farm is currently owned by Wayne Howard Groweg. He is the fifth generation on this farm. Wayne and his wife Mary Daniel - Groweg have three sons: Robert, John, and Daniel, the sixth generation to live on this farm. Wayne and Mary write, "We are very proud that our family members have been on this farm for more than a century and hope that the tradition continues for many more generations."
