Born, in Louisiana, to Elzie and Annie (Breaux) Gautreaux he had resided in Kountze since 1971 and was a retired construction superintendent.
Survivors include his wife of thirty-eight years, Evelyn Gautreaux; daughters, Renda Riley and husband Tommy, Sherry Slaydon and husband Muriel, Connie Becton and husband Gary, and his son Rocky Odom and wife Carmen; brothers, Eugene Gautreaux and wife Betty, Murphy Gautreaux and wife Lucille; sisters, Peggy Benoit and husband Charles, Pat Bratton and husband Joe; fourteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, along with numerous other relatives and friends including his two very special friends, Buddy and Kathy Bumstead.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Hubert Gautreaux.
