Mr. Jeff D. Mobley, who had been ill for a long time died at his home in the city Wednesday, it is supposed from the effcts of the grip, a disease which seems to prevail everywhere and quite fatally and a general thing. Mr. Mobley was not a strong man to resist this disease and his end was expected. He was a good, peaceable citizen and had the respect of those who knew him best. He was a man without enemies as he lived out of the atmosphere of envy and ill will towards his fellow man. He was unmarried and about 45 years of age. He leaves many friends to mourn his death. His remains were buried Thursday afternoon at Bottsford church.
