BEALL, EDWARD C. — Age 89 years, a retired funeral director from Davistown, Pa., died Tuesday, July 6, 1971 in the South Side Hospital, Pittsburgh at 4 p.m. He was born March 15, 1882 in Davistown the son of the late Andrew J. and Sarah Stewart Beall. He had served on the Dunkard Twp, School Board and was the School Director for several terms. He was a member of Ihe Davistown Methodist Church, the Dunkard Grange, the Dunkard Valley Lodge of IOOF and was a retired member of the South Western Directors Funeral Assn. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth in 1944; a son Andrew in 1966; two brothers; and three sisters. Surviving are his wife, Margaret G. Phillips Beall; two sons, Herbert of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. and J. Guy of Phoenix, Ariz; a brother Jack of Jacksonville, Fla.; three sisters, Mrs. Linda Cowell of Dewey, Okla, Mrs. Emma Higgins of Mather, Pa., Mrs. Galia Donley of McKeesport. Friends are being received in the Michael Lucas Funeral Home in Carmichael. Services will be held on Saturday at the Davistown Methodist Church with Rev. Gerald Michel and Rev. William Miller officiating. Interment In Highland Cemetery in Davistown, Pa.
