Surviving are her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Naomi Moore of Kansas City, Mo., a son, Wilford Mitchell of Cainsville, Mo., a daughter-in-law and son-in-law, five grandchildren, Sandra and Bernie Moore, Larry, Gary and Mary Mitchell, her aged father of Pleasanton, 3 sisters, Mrs. Ulna Getman, Mrs. Ada Pitman of Kansas City, Mo., and Mrs. Irene Corlett of Cainsville, Mo., also many aunts, uncles, and a host of other relatives and friends. She united with the Unity Baptist Church near Humeston, Iowa in 1926 and has lived a Christian life since. It can certainly be said she gave her life for others. Although she had been ailing and suffered for years she always had a smile for everyone and was jolly through her last illness.
Funeral services were held from the Freedom Baptist Church near Pleasanton Wednesday, Oct. 27 at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Elba Dale assisted by Rev. V. F. Walker officiated. Music was furnished by Helen Williams with Marie Molleston at the piano. Burial was at Bethel Cemetery southeast of Pleasanton.
