On Sunday afternoon, February 12, 1905, Mrs. David Newman, aged fifty-three years died at her home near Warren Pond. The cause of her death was diabetes, from which she has suffered for some months. For the past three weeks she has been in critical condition and slight hopes of her recovery were entertained. She was the daughter of Philemon and Jane Arnold, residents of Rome, this county. She is survived by a husband, three sons, William of New York, Charles of Wyalusing and Noah at home and one daughter, Mrs. T.H. Gallaher of New York.
