MAYODAN — Hallie Yates Alldred, 90, of 103 North 8th Ave., died Thursday, Oct. 25, 2001, at Moses Cone Hospital, Greensboro.
Her funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, 2001, at First Baptist Church of Mayodan, with the Rev. Randy Jessup officiating. Interment will follow in the Mayodan Municipal Cemetery.
Mrs. Alldred was born April 4, 1911, in Stokes County, to the late Walter Yates and the late Mary Lee Joyce Yates.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Mayodan and was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Alldred.
She is survived by her daughter, Dona C. Boyd and husband, Donald of Eden; sisters-in-law, Stacie Yates and Rilla Yates; nephews, Weldon Reynolds, Arnold Reynolds, Dean Yates, Ross Lee Yates, Billy Yates, and Leon Yates; nieces, Edna Myers, Patsy Thacker, and Lavenia Bowie; and several great-nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26, 2001, at Ray Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Mayodan, Building Fund, 101 South 1st Ave., Mayodan, N.C. 27027.
