Mrs. Mathilda Sarsgaard, 77, 121 South Pine Street, life resident of Davenport, died at 6:40 p.m. Wednesday in Mercy hospital following a four days' illness.
Born July 20, 1863, in Davenport, she was educated in local schools and was married here to Christen Sarsgaard Sept. 10, 1892. He died in 1920.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Anna Paarmann and Mrs. B. T. Wirtz, both of Davenport and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Hill & Fredericks chapel. Burial will be in Fairmount cemetery.

THE SARSGAARD FUNERAL
Funeral services for Mrs. Mathilda Sarsgaard, 121 South Pine street, who died Wednesday, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Hill Fredericks chapel with the Rev. Edward Williams officiating. Kenneth Peterson sang two hymns. Burial was in Fairmount cemetery.
Bearers were Herbert Sarsgaard, Clarence Parman (sic), George Blunk, John and Kenneth Fell and William Watson.
