He was a retired firefighter for the city of Chicago, after 32 years of service. He was a veteran of the Army.
He lived in the Fennville area since 1988. He attended St. Peter's Catholic Church in Douglas.
He is survived by his wife, Jean; two sons, Lawrence Rayko, of San Diego, Calif., Gary Rayko, of Apache Junction, Ariz.; a daughter, Leigh Ann and Roy Weston, of Sharon, Mass.; two grandchildren; two sisters, Lorraine and James Olliffe, JoAnn and Peter Tratnik, both of Burbank, Ill.; and many nieces and nephews.
Services at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, in Chicago.
Burial is in St. Mary Cemetery, Evergreen Park, Ill.
