SUTTON - Donald D. Workman, 62, of Sutton, died Sunday at home of an apparent heart attack.
He was a retired miner and was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member and deacon of Sutton Baptist Church. He was a 35-year resident of Braxton County.
Surviving: wife, Olive Tinnel Workman; sons, Allen of Princeton, IN.; daughters, Mrs Brenda Cooper of Princeton, IN., Mrs Sharon Anderson of Akron, Ohio, Mrs Angelie Jackson of Sutton; brothers, Cardell of Rittman, Ohio, Eugene of Dixie, Oba of Summersville, Hollie of Clay, Alton of Cowen; sisters, Mrs Maysel Litton, Mrs Ida Paxton and Mrs Alta Brady, all of Clay; five grandchildren.
Service was held Wednesday in Sutton Baptist Church with the Rev Richard Sargent and the Rev Mark Given officiating. Burial was in Braxton County Cemetery, Route 1, Sutton. Robertson Funeral Home of Sutton was in charge of the arrangements.
