WALTER EARL "SKINNY" MONK
Walter Earl "Skinny" Monk, 76, 342 W. Giles St., Sullivan, died 4:20 p.m. Monday, January 5, 1981, in Mary Sherman Hospital.
He was a retired employee of the Indiana and Sullivan County highway departments and was a member of the Graysville United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge No. 627 and the Sullivan Elks Lodge.
He was a Sullivan County councilman at the time of his death.
Surviving are his wife, Irma; a sister, Mrs. Mary Meese, Bloomfield; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Enid Mond, Sullivan; nieces and nephews.
Services are set for 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Alexander Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Ayres and the Rev. Ray Burchfield officiating. Burial will be in the Johnson Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home where Masonic memorial services will be conducted 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
