Former Danville resident Mary K. Bartley of St. Lucie, Florida, died May 21 at Port Saint Lucie Nursing Home in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. She was 82. Graveside services were May 27 at the Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Lizton with the Rev. Steve Newman officiating.

Mary Katherine Bartley, 82, died May 21, 2007, at Port St. Lucie Nursing & Restorative Care Center. She was born in Greensburg, Indiana, and lived in Port St. Lucie for nine years, coming from Danville, Indiana. Before retirement, she was a nurse's aide in Danville for 17 years. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her daughters, Phyllis Salter of Port St. Lucie and Linda Briggs of Palm City; son, David Bartley of Greencastle, Indiana; sister, Rosa Hermann of Greensburg; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Earl Bartley; son, Donald Ray Bartley; and grandson, Jeffrey Salter. Services: Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. May 24 at Byrd, Young and Prill Port St. Lucie Funeral Home. Burial will be in Indiana.
