Son of Odell Douglas and Karen (Kay) "Vandiver" Parrish,Husband of Carol "Moody" Parrish, Father of Justin Douglas Parrish, Brother of Kimberly Mae "Parrish" Tummins. Darrell was his father's son...he loved building cars and drag racing. A car accident took him way before his time and he is sadly missed by all.

FINGER - Darrell Douglas Parrish, 28, mechanic and owner of P & M Automotive, died Tuesday morning at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital of injuries received in an auto accident last Friday. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Casey Funeral Home with burial in Chester County Memorial Gardens. A race car driver, he was a member of the Super Chevy Club in Memphis. Mr. Parrish, the husband of Carol Ann Moody Parrish, also leaves a son, Justin Parrish, and his parents, Odell Douglas Parrish and Karen Delois Vandiver Parrish, all of Finger; and a sister, Kim Tummins, and his grandmother, Beulah Vandiver, both of Henderson.
