Estel C. Adams, 92, 3105 Goochtown Road, Eubank, died Wednesday, Dec. 25, 1991, at Ft. Logan Hospital, Stanford, following a long illness.

A Clarence, Ky., native, he was born April 10, 1899, son of the late George and Iola Gaston Adams. He was a security guard for Continental Can Co., Sharonville, Ohio, having retired in 1965, and a member of Goochtown Church of Christ.

His wife, Lora Ethel Littrell, whom he married Nov. 9, 1923, died Feb. 16, 1988.

Survivors include three sons, Elmer Adams, Dallas, Ore., Roy Adams, Knightstown, Ind., and Raymond Adams, Eubank; two daughters, Edith Broughton, Franklin, Ohio, and Edna Graves, Mount Olivet, Ky.; a brother, Bill Adams, Kenwood, Ohio; five sisters, Bertha Whitter and Laura Kidd, both of Eubank, Rosie Padgett and Lily Todd, both of Waynesburg, and Lucy Smith, Muncie, Ind.; 18 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; three brothers, Harvey, Walter and Chester Adams; and a sister, Cricket Black.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the chapel of Morris and Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Harold Carter officiating. Burial will be in Eubank Cemetery.
