Funeral D. E. Daniel

David Earl Daniel, 82, died at 12 o'clock Wednesday, July 31, at San Gabriel, and funeral services were conducted at the home at 5 p. m. Thursday by Rev. H. E. Crone of Rockdale. Burial was in the Locklin cemetery at San Gabriel.

David Earl Daniel was born in Georgia October 7, 1858. He was married to Docia Ellison June 9, 1887, his wife preceding him in death on March 10, 1939. A small son also died several years ago. Dr. Daniel was a member of the Methodist church.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Bush Hamblen, of Lancaster, California; and Mrs. Elmer Marcley [Barclay] of Thorndale; three sons, Tamp Daniel of Thorndale, Robert Daniel of Thorndale, and Charley Daniel of Rockdale. Also surviving are thirteen grandchildren, two great grand children, and two brothers, Jim Daniel of Zephyr, Texas and Zach Daniel of Dallas.
