W.G. Collier of Prairie Grove died Sunday evening in Thorton Miner Hospital in Kansas City. Mr. Collier has been affected with stomach trouble for some time and was gradually growing worse, and as a last resort left for Kansas City last Tuesday evening to have an operation performed. The operation was performed Friday night and he died Sunday evening at seven. His brother, Mel Collier, of Prairie Grove, went up Thursday to be present at the time of the operation and will return with the body to-morrow morning when the remains will be taken to the old home at Prairie Grove where funeral services will be held to-morrow afternoon. {Mr. Collier was the brother of Mrs. J.P. Bennett of this place and she and Mr. Bennett went down to attend the funeral.}
