William Henry Bohanan passed away at his home in Corning June 17, 1918, at 2 o’clock p.. after a long illness, at the age of 80 years, 4 months, and 8 days. He was married to Lucy D. Awl, February 10, 1859, at Peoria, Illinois. Six children ware born to them; Mary J. Parson, William Henry Bohanan, Jr., and James Bohanan of Prescott; R. J. Bohanan of Corning; Mrs. A. E. McAuley and Hattie Bohanan of Mason City, Iowa. Mrs. Bohanan died December 30, 1897, and Mr. Bohanan remarried February 3, 1910 to Elizabeth Shrive at Lincoln, Nebraska. The latter survives him. Mr. Bohanan has been a resident of this community for a good many years and was well known here. The funeral services will be held in the M. E. Church in Corning this afternoon at 2:30 o’clock, conducted by the pastor, Rev. A. E. Moore, and the body will be laid to rest in the Walnut Cemetery.
