They had 10 children. Their first born was a daughter named Adelia born April 14,1880. Maybe they named her after Della B..Drusilla's brother Alexander and sister Elander are buried here in this cemetery.
Samuel and Malissa moved from Illinois to Missouri and on into Oklahoma.
Her mother Maria and siblings can be located in the Jackson Co. West Virgina census for 1850 and 1860.
Her father Jonathan died in 1848 there. His father John Smith is living with the family in 1850, he deid in 1858.
The Jackson Co. 1840 census Jonathan is only listed as Shephard Smith
