TRAINOR
Omer Trainor, R.R. 3,died today at 11:50 a.m. in St. Mary's Hospital, where he had been a patient for two weeks.
A mass of Christina burial will beheld Monday at 10 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 4 until 8 p.m. at the Solon Funeral home. The rosary will be recited at 6 p.m.
He was born Oct. 27, 1899 in Blackstone, a son of Joseph and Mary (McGuire) Trainor. He married Rita Breen in the Immaculate Conception Church in 1922. She died in 1967.
Surviving are four sons, Raymond, F. J. "Bud," Paul and Thomas, all of Streator; one sister Loretta Trainor, Streator; one brother, Paul Trainor; 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and five brothers.
Trainor farmed in Kernan and Blackstone, until 1936 when he moved to Streator. He was a member of the Hod Carriers Union 82.
