TRUMAN VIBBERT

September 28, 2008

Truman Vibbert, 79, of Indianapolis, passed away on September 26, 2008 at his home. He was born September 26, 1929 in Mudcamp, Kentucky, the son of Arthur and Ada Vibbert. Truman is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary Edna Staggs Vibbert; daughter, Michelle of Indianapolis; his three sons, Mark and Terrill of Indianapolis, and Carroll of California; two stepsons, 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and three brothers, Raymond of Glasgow, Kentucky, Curt of Bloomington and Donald of Terre Haute; two sisters, Jean Deem and Grace Spurlin. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marie. Truman was a cook at Wheelers before entering the Army in 1951. He served for two years. Truman married Mary on February 19, 1951. After the service he became an electrician working in the Indianapolis area where he retired from Huff Electric in 1986. Visitation will be held at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center - Floral Park located at 425 N. Holt Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46222 on Sunday, September 28 from 4 to 8 p.m. Services will be held on Monday, September 29th, 2008 at 10 a.m. at the funeral center. Burial will follow at Floral Park Cemetery.
