Christ Frederick Gerling was the son of Friedrich W. Gerling & Maria Elizabeth P. Berghorn
He married Anna Marie Louese Scheer on April 19, 1894 Beaufort, Franklin County Missouri
Three children were born to this union ~~ Amanda Charlotte Anna Gerling, Julius William Gerling and Emma Sophia Anna Gerling.
Christ's wife died six weeks after the birth of her daughter Emma.
Married second, Louisa, and had five more children; Agnes, Edwin, William, Ruth and Leroy Gerling. Leroy preceded his parents in death in Oct. 1917.
