Obituary, The Des Moines Register May 18, 1993: Thelma C. Gibler, 76, of 2013 E.23rd St. died of a heart attack Friday at her home. Services will be at 1 p. m. Thursday at Hamilton's Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rising Sun Cemetery. Mrs. Gibler was born in Mill Grove, MO, and moved to Des Moines in 1963 from Shenandoah. She was a homemaker. Surviving are two daughters, Linda McPherson of Des Moines and Sharon Gibler of Glendale, Calif; three sons, Danny of Tarko, Mo., Ron of Des Moines and Dewayne of Everett, Wash.; two sisters, Willa Jean Beverlin and Beulah Wilson, both of Trenton, Mo; eight grandchildren and one great -grandchild. Friends may call after 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, where the family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
