HOLT, B.F. "NIG" - age 89, of Sweetwater, passed away at 8:10 a.m. Monday, March 26, 2001 at Sweetwater Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was a member of Eagle Nest Baptist Church in Fruitland Park, Fla. He was a 50 year member of the Paint Rock Lodge #367 Free and Accepted Masons. He was a well known milk hauler for local dairy farmers. Preceded in death by his wife of 67 years; Ruth Ross Holt; parents, Frank and Mary Buckner Holt; brothers, Gay, Ernest, and Tommy Holt. Survivors include: sister, Mary Jones of Knoxville; several nieces and nephews. The body is at Kyker Funeral Home, Sweetwater, where the family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday with funeral services to follow at 8 p.m. in Kyker's Chapel with Rev. Julian Walton officiating. Family and friends will meet Wednesday at 10:45 a.m. at the Sweetwater Valley Memorial Park for an 11 a.m. interment.
