In early days a Methodist Church was on the I.N. Hughes farm. It was dismantled when a new church was built in Windsor. A news clipping about the church bell is shown at left.

Alert: Some trees show additional son, Isaac Thornton Hughes born Dec 8 1841, Henry Co. VA, died 1862 as civil war casualty. While a fit for the unknown 7th child born after 1840 census, he is not in household for 1850 or 1860 census and have found no information.
