Services: 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 20, 2009, at the chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville.

Visitation: Wednesday, August 19, 2009, at Hixson Brothers, Pineville from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

Services for Myrtle R. Aucoin will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 20, 2009, at the chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville with Brother Marion Trisler and Brother Brad Crooks officiating. Burial will be at Restland Cemetery, Pollock, LA, under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Pineville.

Mrs. Aucoin, 91, of Pineville, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2009, at Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria.

She loved the Lord and her children, and the Church of God Ministries. Her favorite scripture from the bible was "I have fought a good fight. I have finished my course. I have kept the faith". 2nd Timothy 4 & 7. "I shall not die but live, and declare the works of the lord." Psalm 118:14 V.17.

She was preceded in death by her husband M. J. Aucoin; daughter, Joyce Inell Cole; son, Ralph Quinton Aucoin.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Shirley Aucoin of Pineville, Judy Aucoin of Pineville, Diane Trevino & husband Al of Harahan, La; sister, Katelah Thomas of Jonesboro, La; daughter-in-law, Laura Aucoin; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews and many friends.

Pallbearers will be Joe Trevino, Michael Trevino, Ricky Ouber, Jason Diamond, Tony Fricarotto, and Al Trevino. Honorary pallbearers will be Ed Rutledge, Pervin Paul, Tim Crooks, Steve Crooks, Ronnie Wiggins, Terry Deville, Buddy Stevenson and Lee Haugen.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 19, 2009, at Hixson Brothers, Pineville, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

The family would like to give special thanks to Doctors and Nurses at Rapides Regional Medical Center, 4th floor and ICU for their care and kindness.
