Darr, Johnnie, 70, retired Sedgwick County sheriff, died Sunday, March 25, 2001. Service 10 a.m. Thursday, First Baptist Church of Wichita; burial will take place in Freedom (Okla.) Cemetery.
Preceded in death by parents, Geoffrey and Ruth Darr; brother, Jimmy Darr and two grandchildren.
Survivors: wife, Irene; sons, Steve, Jeff both of Wichita; daughters, Ronda Willms, Janell Darr both of Haysville; sisters, Velma King, Peggy Stephens, Ruby Lou Conaway, Betty Ann Gray all of Oklahoma City; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Memorial established with American Cancer Society. Broadway Mortuary.
