Josephine Matten, 69, Brainerd, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2008, at her home in Brainerd.
She was born in Kildeer, N.D., on April 18, 1939, to Martin and Susan Ann (Leiss) Bosch.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Morris Matten; their children, Cynthia Sullivan, David Matten, Nancy Lodermeier, Lawrence Matten; her sisters, Pat Lane, Darlene Haney; and brothers, David Bosch, John Bosch, all of Brainerd; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Lorene Meyer; brother, Daniel Bosch; and her daughter-in-law, Susan Matten.
Services will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2008, at 10 a.m. at the Halvorson-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Brainerd. Friends may call on Tuesday, July 1, 2008, from 6-7 p.m. and a half hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
