After an extended illness, MITCH REAM of Benton Township, passed away at his home on Wednesday forenoon, January 25, 1905. He had been in failing health for several months and about five weeks ago was operated on for the removal of gall stones. He was one of the oldest and most highly respected residents of this county and the news of his death will bring sadness and sorrow to many hearts. By his genial disposition and kindly ways he had won a host of friends who will extend sincere sympathy to the grief stricken relatives.
The funeral services will be held at the family home tomorrow (Friday) morning at 10 o'clock after which the remains will be interred in the Chariton Cemetery.
