Alford S.C., Brother Max (James Andrew)—Died Thursday, Aug. 16, 1990, at Ochsner Foundation in Metairie. He was 83, a native of Washington [Daviess Co.], Ind., and was stationed at Cor Jesu High School and Brother Martin High School in New Orleans since 1966.

Visiting at St. Stanislaus High School chapel, Bay St. Louis, Miss., noon until Mass of Christian Burial at 4 p.m. Saturday. Burial in Brothers Cemetery, Bay St. Louis, Miss.

Survived by a brother, Richard Alford, Spencer, Ind.; four sisters, Mrs. Cleo Brochin, Spencer, Ind., Mrs. Sarah Webber and Mrs. Rose Theroff, both of Washington, Ind., and Mrs. Lorena Walker, Fort Morgan, Colo.

Preceded in death by parents, T. [Thomas] Everett Alford and Rose Kiddwell Alford.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Brothers of the Sacred Heart Vocation Development Fund, 4540 Elysian Fields Ave., New Orleans, 70122. McMahon-Coburn-Briede Funeral Home, New Orleans, in charge of arrangements.
