Alleged Slayer Waives Hearing.
Mina, Nev., Nov. 7. - Andrew Negretti (sic), charged with the murder of Clyde Bixby who died at the Hawthorne hospital Monday night, waived preliminary hearing when brought before Justice Eckley of Mina Thursday and was automatically bound over to the district court for trial.
A Coroner's inquest at Hawthorne Wednesday returned the verdict that Bixby had come to his death from knife wounds inflicted by Andrew Negretti. No statement has been made by Negretti giving reason for the alleged action.
The father of the slain man reached Mina yesterday after being located through the Sheriff's office at Salinas, Cal.
