Luther Agnew Rites Set Today At Plains
BROWNFIELD, Nov. 20 (Special) - Funeral services for Luther Allen Agnew, 60, Bronco, will be held at 4:30 p.m. today in the Plains Baptist Church. The Rev. Mr. Henson, pastor of Bronco Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Plains Cemetery, under direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
Agnew, who died at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday in Treadaway-Daniel Hospital following a month's illness, had resided in Yoakum County for three years, farming for Anita Field.
He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Bessie Agnew, Brownfield; three brothers, Paul, Abilene; five sisters, Mrs. R.W. Tunnel, Brownfield, Mrs. Vera Benson, Lamont, Calif; Mrs. Gracie Carmichael, Fresno, Calif.; Mrs. Estelle Lightfoot and Mrs. Vivian Reed, both of Amarillo; and six grandchildren.
