Funeral Services Will Be Held In Macy's Chapel Wednesday
Joel Anderson, 76, Carlton carpenter, was found hanging dead at his home at 10:30 a.m. Monday. County Coroner Glen S. Macy pronounced the death suicide. Mr. Anderson had been in poor health.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Macy's chapel. Burial will be in the Carlton-Yamhill cemetery.
Mr. Anderson, born in Sweden Dec. 28, 1861, had been a resident of Carlton since coming to the United States in 1889.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jennie Anderson; three sons, Carl, Troutdale; William S., McMinnville; and Walter, Carlton grocer; and two daughters, Mrs. Amelia Kidder, Carlton, and Mrs. Alice Dirickson, Silverton.
