She was born Nov. 20, 1919, to George W. and Geneva Olmstead Clark and died Saturday, Dec. 23, 2000.
On Aug. 12, 1939, she married John Highfill at Pawhuska. They lived in Lambert. She worked for Masonic Hospital in Cherokee for many years, and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cherokee.
Surviving are her husband, John; two daughters, Linda Lovelade of Ringwood and Carol Ann Pierson of Clear Lake, Texas; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceeded in death by one sister and two half brothers.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the church.
