EDDIE BYKERK
Youngest son of Cente and Denia Bykerk, was born at Hickman on September 10, 1898 and died in Lincoln on September 17, 1939 at the age of 41.
He attended Hickman schools and was a member of the Presbyterian Church until his marriage to Nellie M. Grant on March 22, 1824 at Lincoln, when he transferred his membership to Lincoln Heights Methodist Church. A lover of singing, he was an active member of the church choir.
Surviving are his wife and two sons, Donald Edwin and Leland Wesley, five sisters, his twin, Mrs. Edna Loosbrock; Mrs. Wilhelmina Johnson; Mrs. Grace Martin of Lincoln, Mrs. Anna Stein of Malcolm, and Mrs. Jennie Wissell of Adams; two brothers, Cente C. Bykerk of Adams and John A. Bykerk of David City.
Funeral services were held September 19 at Umbergers, Rev. Adrian J. Edgar of Wymore officiating, and burial was in Wyuka.
