Wanda (Hutson) Asberry, age 70, of Allardt passed away Friday, August 7, 2009 at Jamestown Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Asberry was born May 12, 1939 in the New River Community. She was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church.

Mrs. Asberry is survived by husband, Roger Asberry of Allardt; four sons, Ronnie Stinson of Nashville, Billy Wayne Stinson, Anthony Kirkendall and Roger Hollis Asberry Jr. all of Jamestown; two daughters, Sherri Bolton and Shanna Faulkner both of Jamestown; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister, Ivalene Johnson of Jamestown; brother, James Allen Hutson of Jamestown; and a host of great friends.

Mrs. Asberry is preceded in death by father, Frank Hutson; mother, Daisy (Morris) Hutson; daughter, Rhonda Sterling Brown; three sisters, Doris Spicer, Imogene Sparks and Ravenna Acree and an infant brother, Elvin Hutson.

Funeral services were held Sunday, August 9, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jennings Funeral Home with Bro. Chester Rhoad officiating. Burial followed in the Stockton Cemetery. Pallbearers included Patrick Stinson, Josh Stinson, Hayden Stinson, Brian Stinson, Jason Garrett, Michael Watson, Kevin Ooten, Scotty Asberry and Tim Sterling.

Jennings Funeral Home of Jamestown, Tennessee was in charge of services.
