Robert W. (Rob) Albrecht, 54, of Herington, died Sunday, Aug. 16, 2009, at the Herington Municipal Hospital.
He was born Oct. 1, 1954, at Cocoa Beach, FL the son of Werner F. (Whitie) and Evelyn H. (Vereen) Albrecht.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m., at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, Herington Chapel, where the family will receive friends Friday from 7-8 p.m. Inurnment will be in the Sunset Hill Cemetery, Herington.
Mr. Albrecht was a carpenter. He lived in Herington since 12977.
He is survived by a daughter, Dicy Durham of Manhattan; a son, Kelly Albrecht and fiancée Stephany Howser of Philadelphia; three grandsons, William, Joshua and Matthew; and his companion, Jadine Pryor.
He is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Alexus Durham on Feb. 13, 2005, at the age of 2 1/2 months; his mother, Evelyn on Dec. 29, 1985; and his father, Werner (Whitie) on July 15, 1986.
